Adobe Canyon

A family home reconsidered from the inside out. Devall joined the project during framing and spent the next two years resolving the interiors, architectural details, exterior and outbuildings. The structural plan stayed largely intact. Every room had to work.

About Devall

“The homes people remember are deeply personal, as though they could belong to no one else.”

For more than 35 years, Devall has designed and built residential interiors from the architecture outward. She works across space, proportion, custom millwork, furniture, materials and art, with a clear understanding of how people actually live. The result is a home with its own identity, shaped by the people who live there.
